The natural sources that are richest in taurine are shellfish, crustaceans and other seafoods, seaweed, krill, beef, lamb and organ meats such as liver and heart.
Many studies have pointed out that increased taurine intake, that is, the increased level of taurine in the body improves the quality of life and boosts sports performance, among others.
What is more, a study in 2009 concluded that the unusual longevity and youthful activity of Japanese people maintained in old age derive mostly from their high taurine intake (Yamori et al., 2009).
Recommended consumption: Take 1 teaspoon of the product (3 g) daily, dissolved in liquid. It is best taken with meals. You may take it distributed to several doses (eg. half and half teaspoon in the morning and the evening).
